Okay so as we all know Women's Day is round the corner. So this is just another post to acknowledge womanhood. This is for all those women who need to know they are strong and have the right to be wild and for all those men who think they can protect us with all those puffed up chests or with the fact that they are men.

First of all what all of us need to know is that women very much are strong and also stronger than a lot of men. Here comes a little bit of information for us to understand. Men have longer and broader limb muscles than women biologically making them able to acquire more power in there muscles than women using lesser effort than we women would have to put in. So basically they can acquire more potential energy to do work. However this can very well be changed by hard work on the females side. Well, this makes me ponder that even after all that power and energy acquired by the men how come majority of the working married women have to do the major house work after coming back from work? But is this all what strength in this world means ? Is wit not a part of it and for that instance even the amount of pain one can bear? Women have larger pain threshold than men. Yes we can win a fight physically too but you just need to let yourself free from those patriarchal ethics.

Secondly, slow claps for that government who thinks making bathrooms/washrooms is a sign of women empowerment. I just want to ask how? Do men not need to poop? I understand that it's a great move but its for everyone. Its a move towards making India hygienic and healthy and has got nothing to do for women empowerment. Thirdly, yes I have a problem with seats being reserved for women in public transport like we are some kind of handicaps.

I want to scream and shout and if possible inject this in every ones mind that we are not fighting for protection here, we're fighting for pride and respect. Wearing sarees and salwars instead of skirts and shorts will not get us that pride. Neither will reserving seats for us gain us respect. It will merely add on to our appalling situation and make us helpless.

Also wearing heels and bangles is not a sign of weakness but strength. It takes fucking talent to look graceful in them.

And for all those men out there; don't protect us, respect us. We know how to fight for ourselves.

This women's day come lets pledge to be strong women instead of trying to be like men in order to be strong.

                      HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY
